TeNo - as POLICE FUNCTIONS: From 1936-1937 � 1945, TeNo became a Technical Auxiliary Corps of the Police and was absorbed into ORPO Hauptamt.
During the TR the TeNo focused on the Disaster Control and Air Protection (Katastrophenschutz und den Luftschutz) and was concentrated as part of the safety and emergency service (Sicherheits- und Hilfsdienstes).
TeNo, in 1936, became a Technical Auxiliary Police Troop (Technischen Hilfspolizeitruppe) under the auspices of the Order Police Hauptamt (ORPO - Ordnungspolizei) and thus part of the power apparatus of the SS.
