To be quite honest, I have never been called any "bad names".
I've always kept my collecting interest very private. I do not tell my neighbors and nor my employees but I do tell my wife.....sometimes.
The funniest thing that ever happened to me in relation to our hobby, was that I was once called a "stupid Yank"................told him I was Canadian, from a Spanish mother and Swiss father and married to a half French-Canadian and half-British..................I had no reply from him.
That happened in Munich while searching for some TR artifacts at a flea market.
