Bavarian short swords for Gemeindepolizei in yellow metal. The same short swords in white metal will also be found for municipal Schutzpolizei. Both swords were made by WKC and were brought back together from Germany after the war. These swords were carried from Imperial times through the Weimar Republic. A similar sword for NCO personnel had a slightly longer, narrower, etched blade.
