I am sure it is him. The Milwaukee, Name and ARC connection are too unlikely a combination for anyone else.

The WW2 Memorial is a great site for information that I usually forget about. It is useful because many times it has extra information in there that teh NARA archives won't have ( such as exact unit or awards) but as the information is entered by family or friends, it has to be taken with a grain of salt.

e.g. My uncle did NOT receive the silver star:

But was entitled to a silver Campaign star.
(Although he should have gotten a bronze star for leading a convoy out of a mine field to escape the advancing Germans in the Ardennes forest.)
