Von Epp also held the rank of Obergruppenfuhrer in the SA. Von Epp's named NSKK mantel with the Ehrenfuhrer cufftitle, his matching kepi with carmine top and a dagger were sold to Bob's Military Hobbies in Santa Monica, California, in the mid 1960's by the vet who aquired them during the war. The kepi is on the cover of Volume IV of "Headgear of Hitler's Germany."
