I did a little resarch ….
Hiddensee is a small island, west from Rügen, in Northern Germany on the Baltic Sea ,
In 1873 after a Storm surge, there was found a gold treasure, linked to the Viking king Harald and was dated late Viking Age c. 10th century.

In Germany, from c. second half of the 19th century, there was renewed interest in ancient times of Teutons and Vikings ect. ; see the Teuton rune booches and Nazi badges we know.

This brooch is inspired on that treasure ; a combination of loose parts : two crosses and the round brooch. Norse pagan and Christian symbols.

It is gilded, silverstamped 835 and has the Laurin stamp. For me it has historical value.
The value is small .
