My first thought would be the seller, maybe they have done a few litle bits with you to gain trust. Then when you spend the big money the stuff goes missing in the post?.
Failing that it prooves that it is risky business sending this kind of stuff all over the place by post. But sometimes you just need to do it, I do hope you can claim on the insurance ok.
