I've never seen it before, but I recognize the typ of Norge-rings.
The rescue ring with name Florida could stand for a military saving life unit or a ship ? The little damage doesn't much detract ; the ring is attractive.
Your ring is dated 14 April1940..... Will be interesting to know why exactly that date; the German invasion in Norway was beginning April 1940 .
