Hi Seany great SA dagger regarding the hanger would the Assman marked clip indicate that it is not the earliest of hangers? Im no authority in this regard. perhaps Dave or others could offer comment/opinion? regarding the F.Herder SA blade is this trademark accepted by the "collecting community" as having been used on period daggers? I know that many of these with SS and SA blades were located in Solingen and are still being sold today. They are generally accepted as period produced. Recently I hand examined one with a full Rohn inscription neither myself nor an esteemed member/advertiser here on GDC could fault it other than to state the proceeding merely asking.
