S. , IF, if it has the SS motto on the sides it is a early copy . and probably with real enamel. It looks like the runes are 'proud' / raised above the field which would also not make it period
Thanks Gaspare. The motto is on the sides, albeit faint now. The runes are proud but I‘m not sure if this is because the enamel is so badly chipped. Still, if it's a copy (early or otherwise), who cares? Shame! It was my first ring. How ironic is that? First Third Reich ring, first dud!
