After the successful German invasion of Norway in 1940, a cottage industry grew up making souvenir items for the occupying troops.
One such was the creation of commemorative rings by the various jewelers across Norway.
This is my most recent arrival and is the result of a tip from Gaspare, who has helped me find many such items.
It is a Norwegen 1940 Luftwaffe ring with a festive motif, wreath and candle.
I also have two other Norwegen 1940 Luftwaffe rings with a flag, the difference between these two is in the border around the eagle/flag.
