The Alcoso mini with the marbel base is refered to as letteropener with paperweight.
The standard mini as letteropener.
These were also used as relations gifts with the firm name etched etc.

Salesman sample imo is just a made up story, mainly launched by dealers to get more out of it.
I have posted a scan of the original Alcoso catalogue in the days on warrelics, i was granted by Tidax who posted it once on a German Forum.
