,, another baddie! I've actually seen this 2 times sold in the last 6 months or so. They must have made a few [?] so be careful... Really,,be careful of ALL NORGE rings.. They are very tricky and you got to be on top of your game to recognize the fakes and authentics..

As of a few years ago these enameled Norwegian flags you see on the cartouche were still for sale!.. So very easy to dummy up a ring.

This one has a poorly cast ring. The Flag affixed to front and some newly done engraving..

Engraving wears. We see it in the HRs. It gets softer, even toned etc.
This clearly shows a new engraving.. I would stay clear of rings like this. Stay with the standards.
There are members here who their main area/focus of ring collecting is the Norge ring. Check theirs,, - And,,check for all the signs of a cast ring , poorly done finish etc. You would want a nice ring if you were paying for it right! Same back then and even more so!
