I bought a box of items at an auction which included the bayonet below. The estate being auctioned had an incredible collection of rare and museum quality firearms, Civil War gear, etc. I've never encountered a dress bayonet with wood grips whose surface is contoured to resemble stag. I'm not a bayonet collector, per se, but have owned several over the years. So, is this unusual/ valuable? No maker's markings on the bayonet or scabbard.
