Weird is..although you find worn examples they are usually in much better condition that our German rings. Rarely you'll see a dug example, or even a extremely worn one. For some reason they're in pretty good condition,,which is nice to collect!.
Along with the WW2 rings,, Korea,,,which is rare to find,,and Viet Nam rings also have a very good value.. SO, if your having trouble finding authentic German rings to buy,,maybe you'd like to try U.S. ,,,or maybe not,,,[more for us!]
