The owners/workers have changed over the years! From Dutch, English, German, Irish, Italians and now the Asians have a firm hold on the area. Little Italy has been encroached on by China Town,,,but they're still there its just real Little Italy now! But on a weekend you can still catch a glimpse of a jewelry worker doing their thing in China Town and Little Italy. They work fast and neat. Still do a lot of custom jewelry and of course the repairs and resizing. Some use modern tools,,,some are using tools easily 60 yrs old or more!
