Thank you Gerrit1963 and ed773, it's indeed a bad idea to buy a dagger in this shape, and in which perhaps nobody will be interested.
I'll contact the seller, and if he's willing to sell it for $150 or so, I'll take the risk.
But at 250, I'll be better off saving my money for a better quality dagger.
