I'm sure the ring was sold in good faith with the seller fully thinking the ring was authentic..

After much discussion it was still being thought that maybe somehow the ring could be authentic!
So, after a full description of what was going to be done I then obtained permission to do the test. IF the jewelers were experienced none of this would have had to taken place. But as they say '[BadWord] happens'.
After the permission it took 5 min to perform the test and get the results.. Believe me I would have loved for the ring to be authentic,,it just wasn't meant to be.

Anyway,,it could be smoothed out and and look the same as before.
