RON,,, there was guy set up next to us that had - U.S. bring back papers stating that he was taking home a small knife that belonged to Bittrich!!
The papers were real,,,BUT,,the knife was a weird black handled fighting knife,,appeared German,,but,,had a bogus SS overseas cap Skull button put in to the handle.. The button was def a fake.. Knife looked old but really couldn't pin it down to one of the typical patterns..
It did not sell.. They were guys getting out of the hobby. They were selling all the stuff they got burned on over the years.. $1000s worth of junk probably really worth $100s,,pretty sad..
