I wouldn't do that. Clearly he can go to dealer sites and see what real chains. This maybe a attempt to upgrade a fake chain and take out the red flags.
He's been on WAF and was sent packing with his 'detailed show-me-where' request. My guess is the Russian Forum felt the same and hence he's scouting out west.
