Hello everyone!
I need help identifying this Luger that was my Grandpa's before he passed away. There is no story behind this Luger (that I am aware of), my Grandpa simply bought it for his gun collection.
I have a few concerns about this gun after doing some research on it and I was told that this forum has world class collectors who can help me. Do not worry about hurting my feelings or anything, I want to know what exactly this gun is, where it was made and what it is worth.
Concerns: 1.) The finish looks "new" to me. It has this nice gold/straw color finish to it. I am aware that some parts did have this color when they were made.
2.) My biggest concern is the barrel. It has no markings on it. Does this mean it was replaced?
3.) The magazine only has one stamp on the bottom, no other markings.
4.) What's this Luger worth?
Thank you so much for any help anyone can give me! I am a huge war/gun enthusiast but I am not very experienced, and I really like collecting WWII German relics. -Darrin Moore
