The pommel is a Holler variant i have seen before and used to own one. You do see it paired with this Pack guard and it has hand enhancement to the head attributed to Holler and its typed by army collectors as Holler Type-2 all though i can not see it in your pictures - see my crossguard reference
Crossguard Reference The maker mark looks OK to me and i will differ the grip question. I would leave it as is as anything you do will probally look worse then it does now
The fittings are not aluminum but silver plated base metal as evident by the plate lifting seen on the guard and pommel.
