The heart ring resembles WW1 era "trench art" style rings. Nothing to relate it to a "political prisoner".


The "heart-ring" obviously bears the inmates numbers of the two engaged inmates. Not an easy research but it a research about the numbers could perhaps lead to the insight if these were indeed political prisoners or prisoners of another reason (and if those numbers died really exist).

Also the "J"-ring obviously bears an inmate number.
