Yes, that is also true.
Sch�ttelh�fer, Gembruch, 121's are indeed without Roman numbers. Because they started producing SS daggers after this numbering period. Still early enough to use nickel parts.

On the other hand we also see type C's with full nickel guards and plated scabbardfittings.

Curious though if this dagger indeed is a early makermarked piece.
So lets wait for the pictures.
