There are many variations because when all the naval officers were released by Austria Hungary after WWI, they returned to their own countries Navies carrying their Austro/Hungarian Naval Daggers with the etch of the Hungarian Crest on one side and the Austrian Crest on the other. When they got to their own navies they continues to wear the dagger but often filed off the offending crest (s). So, you have the Hungarian.
