it certainly looks like a japanese ww2 helmet to me missing the star also i know that it is not a japanese leather liner that belongs to this helmet shell it appears to me to be possibly hungarian ww2 or czeckoslovakian perhaps some one else has something different to say about this helmet hope this helps best andy militarynut
