UBB.threads Forums Edged Weapons European Edged Weapons Not sure were it is from

There is a bayonet that my grandfather has passed down, he claims that it is a German WWI and WWII bayonet. I noticed that letters P.R.8 on the blade as well as what seem to be blood stains. I would like to know if he was right of if it's from a different war.


If someone who is more educated in bladed weapons can help me, I would be greatful.
