The short KS98 was intended for NCOs and therefore should have a NCO Troddel. The longer blades were for EM and should have this wartime Heer Troddel. Having said that, these were private purchase so a Private could have bought a NCO bayonet. The green felt indicates Jaeger units in the Heer.
