Stunning daggers and missing from my collection, the one made from real copper must be a one of a kind, never seen one before, simply exceptional.
Hi Pat, About two years ago Witty had one on his site, for what I considered a reasonable price. It was there for months until someone realized the rarity they were looking at (early copper plate NSKK marine, three link chain). I couldn't believe it- but there it was sitting, and it was 100% correct.
They were not solid copper, but a real copper plate thinly applied, so all the details are still crisp, but high spots wore off in use, as seen in my example.
