I got the small daimond but I think I`ll not glue the daimond in the grip.
Is there a manner to do it in a proper way?

proper way cannot to done now i,m afraid !
imagine trying to drill out those rivets without damaging the griplates ?, to tricky & you will waste the knife, leave it as it is imo, this was my point on the solid red diamonds that are fitted correctly with movement or wiggle that have unmessed with rivets, cant be done properly unless the diamonds were fitted during the period in the factory.
