I have the same long KS98 by Weyersberg that you do except mine is numbered "85" on the back of the guard where yours is numbered "112". These are interesting Polizei bayonets... I just wish I knew what departments issued them. I think I have seen one with "Tr.#" markings as well.

I am glad that you posted your Eickhorn Polizei clamshell. I notice it has a painted steel scabbard with a separate drag attached but no nickeled throat piece as is correct. I have a couple of these transitional bayonets. Both of mine have the earlier back to back squirrels trademark so made with some NOS parts it seems. One of mine is Weimar and the other is transitional with the clamshell removed and the new 1936 grip eagle added. One has a separate drag and the other is simply painted to appear to have a drag.
These are very interesting Police bayonets showing the Germans never wasting anything.
