Gents,

I thought I would present a circa 1966 Walther Model PP 7,65mm police pistol. This pistol is property marked to the Rheinland-Pfalz Polizei and was carried by West German uniformed policemen. The pistol was made by Walther in 1966 in Ulm/Do to the same specifications as the wartime Polizei Pistole. It has commercial (not military) proofs, two proper magazines (one with the plastic finger rest), and a period holster.

The pistol is shown with two examples of Rheinland-Pfalz police uniforms. Both are NCOs with one orange piped for the rural Gendarmerie and the other green piped for the municipal Schutzpolizei. The 7,65 ammunition is period Geco FMJ.

I collect German Police firearms from roughly 1900 - 1990.
