Steve, I had left the PP/PPK forum in August 2010 and thus was not able to add the comments above to that particular thread that you posted. I would still stand by my comments and belief that there is no way the marking would indicate Detective Police Berlin. At the time of the manufacture of the C.P.B. guns, the Prussian police were not purchasing Walther products. It seems most new pistols were from Sauer out of Suhl, a Prussian manufacturer.
