Anyone know what the rare hangers are for

Kevin; I have had a similar set, but mine had gilted fittings. If you have it see Fred Stephens book,
Daggers Swords & Bayonets of the Third Reich. Page 175 shows my set displayed with a Water Customs dagger.
I think possibly dress hangers for high rank RLB, but just a guess.
