Misch was a very brave LSSAH soldier, he nearly died when shot in the chest during the 1939 Poland campaign - i.e., going forward!!!. His personal courage led to him being suggested to Hitler as a personal servant. Hitler accepted him and Misch stayed with Hitler loyally doing his duty, until the very end.
