You might like to know that his personnel record does note his receipt of the Ehrendolch. This is his full length photo from his Race & Settlement file and shows he is wearing his dagger! Black daggers against black uniforms against dark backdrops coming from microfilm make it hard to see it better, but it is there. Let us know if you get it. Enjoy!
