I was out traveling around today hitting some of my usual haunts looking for various and sundry types of militaria. I spent a couple of fruitless hours hitting dry well after dry well with nothing to show for it. I thought to stop at a local antique mall on the way home and there my luck changed. One dealer had a couple of K98 bayonets in his case, one a mismatched clc1942 the other a matching jwh44 in about as nice a condition as you could hope to find. When I was actively collecting '44 date K98 bayonets this was one that had always eluded me , not even a bedraggled mismatch. This one came with a mounted frog marked enn/43 the code for Alois Grull, Taschner, Wien 75. All in all I'm one very happy camper. Here are some pics. Len
