I believe the point has already been made, and Robert's comparison regarding the mix of type 1 and type 2 hardware in the chains is the crux of the matter.

These started appearing in 2010 as far as I can tell, and were readily available on an European on-line dealer's site. These do not match up to any know configuration and exhibit many of the characteristics of the earlier and now mostly obsolete "Russian Fakes". Thanks to collectors pointing out the problems with these they have all but vanished.

Here are a few of this vintage fake that I have in my archive, all from 2010. Focus on the differences between type 1 & 2 chains and the problems with these become very apparent...
