I know some of the behind the scenes people on the Pawn Stars. And all of them have told me the show is heavily scripted. Remember the episode when someone came off the street with a WWI Marine helmet? And they had the Las Vegas museum curator come in and validate it. Guess what that was his own helmet from his own collection. That curator used to be the San Luis Obispo CA museum curator and is well known among area collectors here where I live at.
