I saw a plum-colored SA a while ago - grip and scabb. same hue, like a dark purple; don't recall the maker. I've heard of these in passing thru the years.

odd-looking in a way but certainly looked period.

t.w. has an ER&S on his site now but the grip doesn't match... and I don't think this color's mentioned in rolf's book.

who produced these and are they as I believe a bit scarce?
