The second police bayonet pickup is a variation that is shown in the Walker/Weinand book, German Clamshells on pages 96-97.

It is a short police clamshell bayonet with plain fittings and a metal scabbard.

It looks like a cross between a KS98 dress bayonet and a police bayo, has the blade and the pommel and crossguards of a KS98 along with the KS98's metal scabbard. But, it has a police type fitting on the scabbard tip and the police insignia on a stag grip along with the police clamshell.

To top it off, it has the double oval serrated tail squirrel over CE with the 5-pointed stars on the TM.
