That's interesting about the slide. Are the tassels all white, or are there grey ones in the center that match the ball like in Alain's picture from the other post? ("Butcher that knot!!!" second row, second from the right)

The construction and material look good, but I'd expect to see grey in the tassel. Maybe just a variation or peacetime vs wartime knot, or private purchase or something. I have a few typical examples that all have matching slides and stems and grey in the center of the tassels.
