Ever so often in my roaming about at estate and garage sales I'll come across a big box of Beanie Babies. I have been told on more than one occasion that the purchaser had bought these as a solid investment but the opportunity to sell at a good price never seems to come. They(usually a she) can't understand why people are no longer clammoring to buy them. I rarely will say anything but usually make a quick exit so as not to break out in uncontrolled laughter!!
