Along with the above and below pins and badges, came a set of bodyguard collar tabs. Vidkun Quilsing had a special group guarding him and they had unique collar tabs and a badge, consisting of an eagle holding a suncross over the intertwined letters of 'V' and 'Q'.

There was some controversy about these tabs when they were posted on a Norwegian forum. The 'textbook' version of these collar tabs is a 'hard ' backing with a zinc plate backing the cloth the metal insignia is attached to. These tabs, while considered original as to the metal insignia, do not have the hard backing. Some of the Norwegian expert collectors think that this is a soft backed variation and totally period, while others think that the soft backing may be post war.

In any case, these are neat items and not too often seen here.
