Thank you so much for the additional pictures, a very unusual pommel that I think is likely a dogs head, certainly some kind of animal head, the suspension is also quite unusual, I can see a thin band of leather under the scabbard lug but not much else, it certainly is not the usual "V" notch frog commonly seen.
I'm with Bill on this one, a wonderful bust of G�ring and graet silver plaque, anything of G�ring dedicated by the hunting association is very rare and very nice to see in such detail.
