Thanks Jerry and Dean for the nice comments and enjoying the album. I think I was buying and saving sweetheart jewelry before anyone wanted it! When ever my parents went on house calls we asked for all types of items and in the early years everything was in abundance. SA daggers were bought for $25 dollars, gold was $35 dollars an ounce, $65 dollars for colt .45s and on and on. It seemed every time we got a box of jewelry my dad would say here take this and put it with your other military stuff. About the time 1980 rolled around silver and gold was high and I had almost 35 troy pounds of sterling air corp wings and marksmanship badges and gobs of sweetheart items. Carolyn makes it easy for me because we like the same stuff. We miss the really big hitter antique markets. Oh well sign of the times I guess.
