There are, John. I work a six day week (gotta keep the dream afloat!) so I don't have a lot of boat time, but I catch tarpon in the 15-30lb range on a daily basis. I use light 'bass' tackle, so it keeps it sporting. Down here in St. Maarten, we have a few land locked lakes, which are slightly salty, hence the name 'salt ponds', and they are full of tarpon.
I am in the process of relocating to Curacao for the remainder of the year, and I will have to learn it all over again.
