Thanks for the kind words,these are tough to find,it would seem they stay in estate type collections and surface rarely when estates are broken up,sold usually at German auction houses,then find their way onto dealer sites and sold for lots of money,boy would I like to do house clearence in Germany!
You are right about how these femer things survive,thank goodnes they do,pictures do not do them justice at all.
As for the stuffed horse,well that is another story,I can supply a real one,here is King Arthur,my trusty steed 17 hands of Dutch Gelderlander Warmblood,he is my most prized possesion!
