Cutoff front of a late war SS M43 cap with 'Pirate Skull'. This is a contrast to the barely-worn trap on the other thread. As you can see, this one was heavily machine-sewn. It's liberator started to cut it off, then decided it was easier to just cut around it and take part of the cap with it.
