The DDAC was a seperate entity soley for owners of private cars, similar to the British AA & RAC & the US AAA. It's president however was an NSKK Standartenführer, Freiherr Günther von Egloffstein.
Although they were seperate organisations the NSKK & DDAC often held joint rallies & events. Therefore badges & trophies can be found carrying both emblems
